Community Work

Keith’s community work has been ongoing since he joined Apollo Youth Club’s committee in the 1980's.

In the 1990's he trained as a mentor, and involved himself with many voluntary organisations and registered charities.

From 2015 to 2022 he was Chair of the MAP Partnership which consists of three partner charities. Together they specialise in education and after-school activities, a day centre for people with disabilities, and a children’s nursery.

In 2003 Keith set up Urban UK Network which has been organising and hosting an annual Question Time evening where experts from the public, private and voluntary sector answer questions from an inquisitive and lively audience. These evenings are always fruitful for all involved, bringing together many people from different walks of life.
